I'll make it brief since there is almost nothing to do with cars in here. Found out half way through the day that I got a $2/hr raise and I have only been at the job for maybe a month and a half. Left a touch early and went to do some christmas shopping. Picked up The Art of Racing in the Rain for my mom. Read the first chapter and already shed a tear, man tears of course. I'm going to have to get this book for myself. Here is a picture for good measure.

First, damn thats a nice raise

Second, you haven't read anything yet... that is one of the best books (if not the best) I have ever read.. you will be in tears at the end... the whole story is brilliant

I feel bad because I know she is going to be crying reading it but she is really going to enjoy it.
